Bethany has been teaching piano privately for over ten years and has managed a private studio with over fifty students of all ages and skill levels. She has taught up to Grade 10 Conservatory piano, helped students with preparation for multiple piano conservatory exams, organizes and hosts two student piano recitals a year, and believes in equipping students with not only the technical skills that piano brings, but also hopes to seed a passion and love for music in each student as well.

She can teach multiple genres such as classical, jazz, chording/keyboard style, and pop. As a composer, she teaches students not only to read the notes on the page, but also to learn to train their ear and look for patterns in the music that will help foster the ability to arrange, compose, or memorize passages more quickly. Whether it’s children, teens, or adults, Bethany loves being able to connect to each individual student and taper the lessons to the students’ specific needs in order to see them thrive in the most advantageous way.
